“Learning Laguna Docents are trained volunteers who teach the Learning Laguna school program in 2nd-4th grade classrooms throughout the Laguna de Santa Rosa watershed and during student field trips to Laguna preserves. Docents help the children of our community deepen their enthusiasm, appreciation, and knowledge of the Laguna de Santa Rosa wetlands and the plants and animals that share the watershed.

Attend orientation to find out if being a Docent is a good fit for you! At the orientation you will learn about the Laguna de Santa Rosa ecosystem, the work of the Laguna Foundation, and the role of a Learning Laguna docent in teaching the specially-designed activities for the classroom and the field. Also, all the training course details will be discussed.”
