“Join Us for Sustainable Paper Craft Day!
Spend a winter day at the beautiful Laguna Environmental Center exploring and expressing your creative side! During this family-friendly event everyone will have lots of choices for making eco-friendly crafts using recycled and everyday materials. We will set-up multiple activity stations with inspiring materials so children and adults can create nature-themed collages, learn how and transform junk paper into artful, handmade paper, and fold, color and twist paper to make vibrant flower bouquets. There will also be space to make personalized cards for giving on Valentine’s Day. After crafting, take a relaxing stroll through the garden to enjoy the winter scenery and use scopes to spot birds in the floodplain. All ages welcome! Plus, the grounds are wheelchair friendly.”
