LandPaths- Garden Day at Rancho Mark West

April 27 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

“Rancho Mark West, a 120-acre community hub, outdoor classroom and protected open space preserve in the Mayacamas Mountains, has been stewarded by LandPaths in partnership with Jim and Betty Doerksen since 2011, LandPaths has held summer nature camps here since 2013. Come on out and help us prepare the garden so that Owl Camp campers can enjoy it throughout the summer! We need all hands on deck to get the plants into the ground so they can start growing before the kids arrive on the land!

If you are unable to participate in the stewardship day, you can help us by donating seedlings to get into the ground – strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, basil, etc., seeds, garden gloves and tools. If you’re interested in donating and want to find out how, please contact Jonathan Bravo, Bilingual Garden Specialist – jbravo@landpaths.org.
For the Garden Stewardship Day, please bring:
  • Water to drink and your own water bottle
  • Food and snacks for yourself and your family
  • Garden gloves, if you have them
  • Sun/rain protection”
