“Learn about and tend the grassland with us! Our grass blast volunteer workdays will focus on learning about grassland ecology, basic grass ID, and collect seed for seeding into burning piles and other restoration projects. Ocean Song is home to several coastal prairie grassland, including a mostly intact serpentine grassland. This day will focus on learning more about the plants that make up the coastal prairie grassland, the ecology and history of positive disturbance in this ecosystem, and learn to ID and collect seed from several native bunch grasses. ”
