“Join us, volunteer Docents Dennis Pocekay and Matt Maguire, to explore the beautiful Lafferty Ranch as Springs begins. We will hike through woodlands and open grasslands, check out Adobe Creek and offer our won (admittedly meager) knowledge of plants, birds, and animal footprints and scat. We hope to learn from you as well, and we are working on bringing a guest naturalist! Finally, and because we are both retired Petaluma City Council members, we can have a talk about the city’s plans for Lafferty Ranch and how to be an advocate, as well as city plans for our other parks.”
