“Meet a Harris’s hawk, live and in-person! In this special presentation, you will learn from Morgan Beliz, professional falconer and raptor conservationist. Discover the adaptations that make Harris’s hawks ideal falconry birds, and take a dive into the world of falconry from how it can benefit communities to the training involved and the human-bird relationship. Morgan will also share fascinating insights on broader raptor ecology and conservation, and will answer audience questions. If the circumstances are right for the safety and comfort of the bird, a free-flying demonstration may also be included. ”
