“Nature has been a source of inspiration for countless musical artists throughout time. From songs about feathered friends, “Black Bird” (The Beatles), to the seasons “The Four Seasons” (Vivaldi), to the weather “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” (Creedence Clearwater Revival), lyrics, music, and songs help artists and listeners connect with the beauty and wonders of the natural world.

Local songwriter, Anne Carol Mitchell, and Pepperwood Education Program Manager, Holland Gistelli, will be your guides for a day of creative community and artistic discovery at Pepperwood Preserve to inspire lyrics, songs, and music. This workshop is for all levels of songwriters, musicians, singers, and lyricists. This is a process-oriented workshop to support the discovery and development of creative works. Participants can use this workshop to generate creative ideas and/or hone works in progress.”
