“A pond can be an oasis teeming with life! In this family-oriented adventure, join our Pepperwood Educators, to explore the biodiversity found at Pepperwood’s ponds. We will introduce you to common species that we might find in and around the water’s edge, and how to identify them. We will visit the pond in search of aquatic insects, frogs, newts, garter snakes, and turtles. Learn first-hand about the lives of these incredible creatures, their roles in our ecosystem, and the dramatic cycles of life that unfold around a pond. ”
