“Join Pepperwood’s Fire and Stewardship Manager and California Certified Burn Boss, Devyn Friedfel, to see first-hand the results of a prescribed burn. Fire is a natural part of California’s landscape, and has been used as a tool by Indigenous Peoples here since time immemorial. See how prescribed fire benefits our native vegetation and ecology, and learn about how Pepperwood uses fire as a stewardship tool for the benefit of both human communities and a thriving ecosystem of plants and wildlife. ”
