“Join Pepperwood’s knowledgeable volunteers and staff for a hike through a mix of habitats from Douglas fir forest to rolling grasslands and visit a rocky hill top of serpentine soils, rich with wildflower diversity. You will become acquainted with what is blooming, and learn about fascinating botanical details. This wildflower adventure is more of a hike than a walk – we will travel approximately 1.5 – 2 miles and climb a few moderately steep hills, taking our time to stop and observe flowers as we find them. You are welcome to bring your lunch to enjoy after the hike, at our picnic tables at the Dwight Center.”
