“Bring your junior scientists over to the Environmental Discovery Center to enjoy a kids-only, interactive science hour. Where do animals live? Do they live in houses or apartments like us? They live in habitats! Using natural items from our environment, we’ll craft examples of different habitats like the ones our favorite animals of Spring Lake call home. Adults can head out into Spring Lake Park to enjoy rejuvenating, kid-free time in nature! Activities are ideal for kids ages 6-12. The cost is $10 for Sonoma County residents and $12 for out-of-county attendees. For more information, contact Kalen Roloff Geck at communityengagementprograms@sonoma-county.org. Registration required.”
