“Join us for an Autumn walk at Montini Open Space Preserve on Friday, November 17, 10:00 am-12:30 pm. This walk will be led by retired field botanist Greg Perrier.

As the fall season unfolds, we’ll explore the diverse plant communities within Montini Preserve. Greg will provide insights into the unique characteristics of these communities as we transition into our cooler season. Throughout the walk, Greg will share valuable insights into the management, including topics like fire risk and land stewardship. You’ll also gain an understanding of the environmental factors that influence the distribution of these plant communities. Please be sure to dress appropriately for cooler weather, including layers and closed toed shoes and bring water and snacks.”
