“Whether you are a beginner or experienced in Nature Journaling, join Sarah Reid, Sonoma Land Trust and Ag+ Open Space for an outing on the Estero Americano Preserve! You will learn to create little landscapes called “landscapitos” in your nature journal, as well as practice documenting plants – hopefully wildflowers! We will practice the prompts “I Notice, I Wonder, It Reminds Me Of” and share tips and techniques. The instructor will provide pen/pencil for sketching and mini watercolor sets to practice adding color. Don’t be afraid if you feel you “can’t draw”: this is all about the joy of observing nature, and putting words, numbers and simple sketches on paper.”
